Sustainability is central to what we do.

Exelon provides reliable, clean, affordable and innovative energy products. And because operational excellence and environmental stewardship are among our values, we also conduct business in a way that is sustainable for our employees, customers and the communities in which they work and live.

We measure our own sustainability goals, performance and impacts - and report it transparently - using the Global Reporting Initiative Sustainability Reporting Framework. It’s the world’s most widely used, comprehensive, sustainability reporting standard, and an independent one.

World Resources Institute (WRI)<img alt="" src="/sustainability/PublishingImages/Lists/Partners/AllItems/WRI_logo_4c.png" width="165" style="BORDER:0px solid;" />https://aztst.exeloncorp.com/sustainability/Lists/Partners/DispForm.aspx?ID=5World Resources Institute (WRI)<p>​​Exelon has partnered with <a href="http://www.wri.org/" target="_blank" title="WRI">WRI</a> in a number of areas, including use of WRI’s Aqueduct global water risk mapping tool (aqueduct.wri.org) to conduct water risk assessments of company facilities that are published in the Exelon CSR. In addition, Exelon participates on the WRI’s corporate consultative group and participates in various WRI issue forums, such as related to climate change.</p>

The Campbell Institute is a group of leading companies from the National Safety Council that are regarded as thought leaders. Exelon is working with the Campbell institute in six major focus areas, including:  Employee well-being/total worker health; Leading EH&S indicators and big data;  Serious injury and fatality prevention;  Environmental and sustainability integration; Contractor and supply chain management for EH&S; Environmental and safety management systems.​</p>
