Quad Cities Generating Station was one of the proud sponsors of the second annual Quad Cities Unity Pride Week. The highlight of the week, which celebrated unity, equality and inclusion of the LGBTQ community, was a bi-state Quad Cities Unity Pride Parade on Saturday, June 22.

Station Site Vice President Ken Ohr, Plant Manager Pat Boyle, and the Quad Cities Station "Inclusion Club" led the station's float in the parade that covered ground in Illinois and Iowa. Station leaders would like to thank all employees and their families who helped decorate the station's float and march in the parade.
The Inclusion Club at Quad Cities Station is one of a number of Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) that employees can join. The groups each have unique goals, focused on diversity, women, LGBT issues, military veterans, and much more.
Recently groups at the site hosted a webinar on "Ending Gender Bias" and also organized a clothing drive for the "Dress for Success" nonprofit located in the Quad Cities. This group collects business wear and accessories for women.
