This year, like every other, Oyster Creek employees became true angels over the holiday season. More than 200 needy children received over $10,000 worth of warm outerwear, accessories and – of course – toys, through the station’s annual Angel Tree Project. Gifts were distributed to children through the Head Start program and through the Lacey Township Food Bank.
And if that wasn’t enough, employees continued to give back at a Breakfast with Santa. Employees and their families were invited to a very special breakfast with the Man in Red. Admission was simply a brand new toy.
Those gifts were donated to The Ocean County Family Support Organization, which provides support to families who have children with special emotional and behavioral needs. They serve about 500 families in Ocean County.
