Michigan Wind 3 is a 68-turbine wind project being planned in Sanilac County, Mich., which is located in the state’s great Thumb Area. The project will have the capacity to generate approximately 153 megawatts of energy. That’s enough clean, safe electricity to power 44,000 Michigan homes annually. This project is an investment in the future of the Sanilac County community. It will bring both economic and environmental benefits to the area.
