Prior to her current position, Reidy served as senior vice president and chief supply officer of Exelon and oversaw supply operations and sourcing as well as real estate for the enterprise. Before that, she served as senior vice president of customer operations for Exelon Energy Delivery, where she was responsible for all customer operations, including customer care, meter reading, meter services, billing and revenue collection for ComEd and PECO. She also served as senior vice president of Exelon BSC and chief supply officer at Exelon, where she was responsible for optimizing the company supply chain by improving processes and leveraging Exelon purchasing power. In a prior role as deputy general counsel of client services for Exelon BSC legal services, Reidy focused on management of the corporate law department, process improvement and integration of legal services. She also served as interim president of Exelon BSC and senior vice president of Exelon BSC services and operations, launching the realignment of Exelon’s information technology and supply organizations.
From 1999 to 2001, Reidy was chief operating officer of the Chicago Housing Authority, where she led the negotiation, planning, coordination and implementation of the agency's Plan for Transformation. Prior to that, she served as deputy chief of staff to Chicago Mayor Richard M. Daley, coordinating major projects including Millennium Park, the McCormick Place expansion and the Soldier Field negotiations. As director of lakefront services for the Chicago Park District from 1994 to 1998, Reidy was responsible for the operations of 27 miles of lakefront, Soldier Field, four underground parking garages, surface parking, nine harbors, six golf courses, two driving ranges, concessions and sponsorship throughout the Park District.
Previously, Reidy served as an attorney with the commercial law department of Jenner & Block.
